In Saturday's non-league game, the host American Eagles baseball team scored a close 8-7 win over the San Mateo Bearcats.

The Eagles (4-12) will now prepare for their game against Kennedy (Fremont, CA). The Titans go into the Mission Valley game with a 8-9 record. In their last game, Kennedy got by Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA), 13-1, in a league contest.

The Bearcats now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aragon for a Peninsula - Ocean contest on Tuesday, April 22. San Mateo will confront a Dons squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Woodside (Woodside, CA). The Dons record now stands at 5-11.
