The Linden Lions baseball team scored 18 runs and held the host Big Valley Christian Lions to 4 in the Lions league win on Saturday.

The Lions now hold a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bret Harte for a Mother Lode League test on Tuesday, April 22. Linden will play a Bullfrogs team coming off a 9-6 league win over Calaveras (San Andreas, CA). The Bullfrogs record now stands at 15-7.

With the defeat, Big Valley Christian drops to 3-13 on the year. The Lions host Riverbank (Riverbank, CA) to play the Bruins in a Mother Lode League test on Tuesday, April 22. The Bruins go into the test with a record of 0-15. Riverbank lost 13-2 in their recent league test against Summerville (Tuolumne, CA)
