The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Bluegrass United Bluehawks (Lexington, KY) and the host Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY), saw Bluegrass United's baseball team get by Nicholas County by a tally of 17-16.

The Bluehawks (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Bath County (Owingsville, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 7-11 record.

Next, the Bluejackets face the Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY) in a District 38 battle, on Monday, April 21. Nicholas County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 5-8 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Paris (Paris, KY).
