April 19, 2025: Burbank, IL 60459 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) and the visiting Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL), saw St. Laurence's baseball team gain a win over Homewood-Flossmoor by a tally of 12-2.
The Vikings (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Latin (Chicago, IL). The Romans enter the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Latin defeated North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL), 12-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Vikings face the Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) in a Southwest Suburban battle, on Monday, April 21. Homewood-Flossmoor will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 11-3 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Minooka (Minooka, IL).
