New York High School Baseball - Niskayuna holds off La Salle Institute
April 19, 2025: Troy, NY 12180 The Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY) baseball the host La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY), 13-9 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Silver Warriors now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Wednesday, April 23. Niskayuna will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 1-7.
With the defeat, La Salle Institute drops to 5-1 on the year. The Cadets host Troy (Troy, NY) to clash with the Flying Horses in a Section 2 Colonial challenge on Monday, April 21. The Flying Horses go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Troy won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY)
