California High School Volleyball - Wheatland over River Islands

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Wheatland Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the River Islands Riptide.

The Pirates (11-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Marysville (Marysville, CA). The Indians come into the Pioneer Valley challenge with a 2-16 record. In their last challenge, Marysville lost by Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Riptide play the Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA) in a Central California Athletic Alliance challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. River Islands will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Humphreys Able Charter (Stockton, CA).
