Louisiana High School Softball - Florien edges Monterey
April 19, 2025: Monterey, LA 71354 The Florien Blackcats softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Monterey Wolves to 5 in the Blackcats non-league win on Saturday.
The Blackcats now possess a 9-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quitman for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 23. Florien will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Haughton (Haughton, LA). The Wolverines record now stands at 18-10.
With the loss, Monterey moves to 11-17 on the season.
