Alabama High School Softball - Fayette County gets by Gordo
April 2, 2022: Fayette, AL 35555 The Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL) softball nipped the visiting Gordo Green Wave (Gordo, AL), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Lamar County (Vernon, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Lamar County held off Winfield (Winfield, AL), 11-4, in a non-league bout.
The Green Wave now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host South Lamar for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 2. Gordo will confront a Stallions squad coming off a 15-1 non-league loss to American Christian Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Stallions record now stands at 1-2.
