Connecticut High School Softball - Waterford bounces Woodstock Academy
April 2, 2022: Waterford, CT 06385 Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT), 18-2 in a league challenge.
The Lancers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ledyard for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Waterford will battle a Colonels squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Colonels record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Woodstock Academy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Centaurs host Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Norwich Free Academy lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT)
