Texas High School Softball - Hillsboro holds off Alvarado
April 2, 2024: Hillsboro, TX 76645 Spectators at Tuesday's league test between the Hillsboro Eagles (Hillsboro, TX) and the visiting Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX), observed Hillsboro's softball team edge Alvarado by a score of 15-13.
Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Kennedale Wildcats (Kennedale, TX) in a 4A Region II District 10 test, on Friday, April 5. Hillsboro will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 5-16 record after their 13-1 league win over Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).
The Indians (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Mustangs come into the 4A Region II District 10 test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Life Waxahachie by Venus (Venus, TX), 13-3, in a league test.
