The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Hug Hawks (Reno, NV) and the visiting Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), saw Hug's baseball team get by Sparks by a tally of 2-1.

The Hawks (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Wolverines enter the 3A North - West battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Truckee was tipped by North Valleys (Reno, NV), 7-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Railroaders face the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) in a 3A North - West battle, on Friday, April 4. Sparks will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 1-13 record after their 11-1 league loss to Wooster (Reno, NV).
