South Carolina High School Baseball - Newberry sneaks past Mid-Carolina
April 2, 2025: Newberry, SC 29108 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC) and the visiting Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC), saw Newberry's baseball team get by Mid-Carolina by a tally of 2-1.
The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Keenan (Columbia, SC). The Raiders enter the 3A Region 5 battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Keenan was tipped by Newberry (Newberry, SC), 24-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Rebels face the Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC) in a 2A Region 3 battle, on Friday, April 4. Mid-Carolina will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Cyclones enter the battle with a 7-3 record after their 12-0 league loss to Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC).
