The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), saw ALA - Gilbert North's baseball team gain a win over Cactus by a tally of 11-2.

The Eagles (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Eastmark (Mesa, AZ). The Firebirds come into the 4A East Sky contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, Eastmark was overwhelmed by ALA - Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ), 21-0, in a league contest.

The Cobras now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paradise Honors for a non-league contest on Monday, April 6. Cactus will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 16-6 league win over Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 13-4.
