The Deer Valley Skyhawks (Glendale, AZ) baseball the host Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), 5-2 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Skyhawks now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peoria for a 4A West Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 14. Deer Valley will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 3-10.

With the defeat, Cactus drops to 13-8 on the year. The Cobras travel to Ironwood (Glendale, AZ) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 10. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Ironwood won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against North (Phoenix, AZ)
