The Cherokee Braves baseball squad (Cherokee, NC), was overwhelmed 17-3 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC)

With the triumph, Rosman moves its record to 3-7 on the season. The Tigers host Swain County (Bryson City, NC) to confront the Maroon Devils in a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, April 14. The Maroon Devils come into the contest with a record of 3-8. Swain County lost 13-3 in their recent league contest against Andrews (Andrews, NC)

The Braves now possess a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robbinsville for a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, April 7.
