In Thursday's league game, the host Doddridge County Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 5-1 win over the Ritchie County Rebels.

The Bulldogs (9-0) will now prepare for their game against Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Indians come into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Sissonville tipped Williamstown (Williamstown, WV), 9-0, in a non-league match.
