In Thursday's league bout, the Freeman Golden Eagles (Katy, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Royal Falcons (Brookshire, TX), by a count of 13-2.

The Golden Eagles now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Bend Willowridge for a 4A Region III District 21 challenge on Tuesday, April 7. Freeman will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 22-2 league loss to La Marque (La Marque, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-13.

With the defeat, Royal drops to 4-11 on the year. The Falcons host Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX) to clash with the Chargers in a 4A Region III District 21 challenge on Tuesday, April 7. The Chargers go into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Almeta Crawford won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Stafford (Stafford, TX)
