Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) and the visiting Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL), observed Lincoln-Way Central's volleyball team top Joliet West by a count of 2-0.

The Knights (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 4. Joliet West will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Foxes go into the battle with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Glenbard East (Lombard, IL).
