The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Ingleside Mustangs (Ingleside, TX) and the host Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX), saw Ingleside's softball squad nip Calhoun by a score of 8-3.

With the triumph, Ingleside improves its record to 19-10 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 7. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 17-5. Jourdanton won 20-3 in their recent league bout against Poteet (Poteet, TX)

In their next game, the Sandcrabs clash with the Jones Trojans (Beeville, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 30 bout, on Tuesday, April 7. Calhoun will attempt to advance on its 7-13 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 6-19 record after their 11-3 league loss to Sinton (Sinton, TX).
