The Williston Mighty Red Devils (Williston, FL) softball overwhelmed the host Chiefland Indians (Chiefland, FL), 7-2 in Thursday's league test.

Next, the Mighty Red Devils clash with the Forest Wildcats (Ocala, FL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 7. Williston will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 10-5 record after their 21-3 non-league win over North Marion (Citra, FL).

The Indians (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Trenton (Trenton, FL). The Tigers go into the 1A District 7 test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Trenton held off Holmes County (Bonifay, FL), 12-2, in a non-league contest.
