Spectators at Thursday's league contest between the Fairhope Pirates (Fairhope, AL) and the visiting Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL), saw Fairhope's softball squad nip Daphne by a score of 3-2.

With the triumph, Fairhope improves its record to 16-6 on the year. The Pirates host McCracken County (Paducah, KY) to face the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 7. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 8-3.

The Trojans now hold a 22-7 record. They play next when they travel to Chelsea for a non-league contest on Friday, April 3. Daphne will face a Hornets squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Helena (Helena, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 16-7.
