The Fairfax Stampede softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting McClintock Chargers to 4 in the Stampede league win on Thursday.

The Stampede now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North for a 5A Metro battle on Monday, April 6. Fairfax will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 22-9 league loss to Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, McClintock moves to 6-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to Central (Phoenix, AZ) to encounter the Bobcats in a 5A Metro outing on Monday, April 6. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 0-10.
