The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA) and the visiting Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA), observed Mid Valley's softball team get by Old Forge by a score of 9-5.

With the triumph, Mid Valley improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Spartans host Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA) to face the Chargers in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 4. The Chargers enter the contest with a record of 0-1.
