In Thursday's league test, the Winn Mavericks (Eagle Pass, TX) softball squad the host Southwest Legacy Titans (Von Ormy, TX), by a margin of 6-2.

The Mavericks now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host McCollum for a 5A Region IV District 28 outing on Thursday, April 9. Winn will meet a Cowboys squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Harlandale (San Antonio, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 17-4.

The Titans (10-13) will now prepare for their test against McCollum (San Antonio, TX). The Cowboys go into the 5A Region IV District 28 test with a 17-4 record.
