The South Portland Red Riots tipped the visiting Thornton Academy Trojans lacrosse team by a score of 11-10 in Wednesday's league match.

With the win, South Portland upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Red Riots travel to Scarborough (Scarborough, ME) to play the Red Storm in a Class A South match on Thursday, April 28. The Red Storm go into the match with a record of 2-0. Scarborough won 14-7 in their recent non-league match against Windham (Windham, ME)

With the defeat, Thornton Academy drops to 2-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to Falmouth (Falmouth, ME) to play the Navigators in a non-league match on Saturday, April 23.
