April 20, 2022: North Charleston, SC 29405 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Academic Magnet Raptors (North Charleston, SC) and the visiting Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC), saw Academic Magnet's soccer squad triumph over Berkeley by a margin of 10-1.
The Raptors now sport a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hanahan for a AAA Region 8 match on Thursday, April 21. Academic Magnet will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC). The Hawks record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Berkeley drops to 1-13 on the season. The Stags travel to Stratford (Goose Creek, SC) to encounter the Knights in a AAAAA Region 7 match on Friday, April 22.
