Alabama High School Softball - Buckhorn falls to Athens
April 20, 2022: New Market, AL 35761 In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Athens Golden Eagles softball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Buckhorn Bucks.
Coming up next, the Golden Eagles battle the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, April 21. Athens will attempt to upgrade on its 22-7 season record. The Black Bears enter the outing with a 37-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Decatur (Decatur, AL).
The Bucks (15-14) will now prepare for their outing against Ardmore (Ardmore, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league outing with a 20-10 record. In their last outing, Ardmore was routed by Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL), 9-7, in a non-league outing.
