Alabama High School Softball - Gordo gets by Sipsey Valley
April 20, 2022: Gordo, AL 35466 The Gordo Green Wave nipped the visiting Sipsey Valley Bears softball squad by a final score of 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Green Wave (9-17) will now prepare for their battle against Northside (Northport, AL). The Rams go into the 4A Area 6 battle with a 23-10 record. In their last battle, Northside held off Hamilton (Hamilton, AL), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
The Bears now possess a 17-16 record. They play next when they travel to Cherokee County for a non-league battle on Friday, April 22. Sipsey Valley will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to White Plains (Anniston, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 10-11.
