April 20, 2023: Kaukauna, WI 54130 The Appleton East Patriots crushed the host Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts baseball team by a count of 6-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Appleton North for a Fox Valley Association bout on Monday, April 24. Appleton East will face a Lightning team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Hortonville (Hortonville, WI). The Lightning record now stands at 7-2.
Next, the Galloping Ghosts face the St. Thomas More Cavaliers (Milwaukee, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 21. Kaukauna will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Cavaliers enter the bout with a 7-1 record after their 13-2 league win over Dominican (Whitefish Bay, WI).
