South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI), 6-3 in a league test.

With the win, South Lyon upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Lions host Canton (Canton, MI) to battle the Chiefs in a non-league test on Saturday, April 22. The Chiefs come into the test with a record of 0-1. Canton lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Stevenson (Livonia, MI)

With the defeat, Walled Lake Central falls to 4-7 on the season. The Vikings host South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI) to battle the Cougars in a Lakes Valley test on Friday, April 28. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-2.
