April 20, 2023: Four Oaks, NC 27524 Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) and the visiting Fike Demons (Wilson, NC), saw South Johnston's baseball squad knock off Fike by a count of 9-3.
Coming up next, the Trojans play the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 25. South Johnston will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record. The Golden Falcons enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 17-4 non-league loss to North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC).
The Demons now possess a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Smithfield-Selma for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 25. Fike will play a Spartans squad coming off a 22-1 non-league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 0-8.
