The Pottsville Crimson Tide crushed the host Tamaqua Blue Raiders baseball team by a tally of 9-3 in Thursday's league bout.

The Crimson Tide now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Schuylkill for a bout on Monday, April 24. Pottsville will face a Spartans team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Minersville (Minersville, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-4.

Next, the Blue Raiders face the East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers (East Stroudsburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 22. Tamaqua will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Cavaliers enter the bout with a 3-10 record after their 15-0 league loss to Freedom (Bethlehem, PA).
