April 20, 2023: Hillsville, VA 24343 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) and the visiting Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA), saw Carroll County's soccer squad knock off Alleghany by a count of 4-1.
The Cavaliers now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Marion for a non-league test on Friday, April 28.
With the loss, Alleghany drops to 4-4 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to James River (Buchanan, VA) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, April 24. The Knights come into the test with a record of 3-5. James River won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA)
