The Covington Cougars smashed the host Craig County Rockets soccer squad by a margin of 5-1 in Thursday's league match.

The Cougars now sport a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bath County for a Pioneer match on Monday, May 1.

With the loss, Craig County drops to 0-4 on the season. The Rockets travel to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA) to encounter the Bison in a non-league match on Friday, April 21.
