In Thursday's league outing, the host Hewitt-Trussville Huskies softball team scored a close 5-3 triumph over the Chelsea Hornets.

With the triumph, Hewitt-Trussville moves its record to 32-6 on the year. The Huskies host Pell City (Pell City, AL) to play the Panthers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 25. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 18-10.
