Tennessee High School Baseball - Alcoa defeats King's Academy
April 20, 2024: Alcoa, TN 37701 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) and the visiting King's Academy Lions (Seymour, TN), saw Alcoa's baseball squad knock off King's Academy by a count of 12-5.
Coming up next, the Tornadoes play the Oneida Indians (Oneida, TN) in a 2A District 2 battle, on Tuesday, April 23. Alcoa will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 9-10 record after their 15-4 non-league loss to Coalfield (Coalfield, TN).
The Lions now possess a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Anderson County for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 23. King's Academy will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 11-0 league win over Scott (Huntsville, TN). The Mavericks record now stands at 21-9.
