In Monday's league game, the visiting Pittston Patriots baseball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the Crestwood Comets.

The Patriots (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA). The Spartans go into the Wyoming Valley 1 game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Wyoming Valley West knocked off Berwick (Berwick, PA), 6-0, in a league game.

Next, the Comets play the Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 game, on Wednesday, April 22. Crestwood will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 10-1 record after their 16-5 league win over Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA).
