Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Florence Falcons (Florence, AL), 9-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Austin improves its record to 28-15 on the year. The Black Bears host James Clemens (Madison, AL) to play the Jets in a 7A Area 8 game on Thursday, April 23. The Jets enter the game with a record of 19-19. James Clemens won 5-1 in their recent non-league game against East Limestone (Athens, AL)
