The Compton Tarbabes baseball team (Compton, CA), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA)
The Rams now hold a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodrow Wilson for a Moore outing on Friday, April 24. Millikan will confront a Bruins team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 14-9.
Next, the Tarbabes confront the Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) in a Moore outing, on Wednesday, April 29. Compton will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record.

The Millikan Rams beat visiting Compton 12-0 with superb pitching led by All Moore League pitching sensation, Jacob Alcorn. Alcorn kept the 'Babes' in check by allowing only a leadoff single to the first batter of the game, Robert Navarro. The only other hit allowed by Millikan pitching was a booming triple by Navarro in the top of the 7th inning. The Rams scored early and often with a 5 run outburst in the first inning and a 4 run third inning and never looked back as they won their fourth consecutive league game. Compton, who had played outstanding defense in the non-conference games, continued their weak fielding by making 9 errors which is by far, the worst defense in the league. Next up for Compton is an away game against the mighty Lakewood Lancers next Wednesday, April 29th.
