    Andy Rosales has been named player of the year. "Andy Rosales (Sr) is my selection for 'Player of the Year'. Andy's contribution this season and over the course of his four year career at Compton HS, has been simply outstanding. Rosales, who was selected to the All Moore League First Team as a centerfielder, made school history by being named to the All Moore League Team four consecutive seasons. The previous three seasons were as a pitcher. Here is Andy's stat line for the 2014-2015 baseball season. *Batting Average .492 *Runs Scored -13 *Hits - 29 *RBI's - 24 *Doubles - 6 *Triples - 4 *Multiple Hit Games - 10 *Hit safely in 16 of 19 games *On Base Percentage .508 *Slugging Percentage .728 *OPS - 1.237 *SB's - 10 of 10 *Fielding Percentage .1000 (no errors in 53 total chances) *Had 12 outfield assists - #1 in the League Andy will play in three post season All Star games in June. Quite an honor for this wonderful student-athlete who has a very bright future in baseball. Andy was my team captain and showed great leadership skills."
