In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), by a final score of 10-1.

With the win, Ashbrook upgrades its record to 7-12 on the season. The Greenwave host Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC) to battle the Mountaineers in a Big South 3A challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 14-3. Kings Mountain won 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Crest (Shelby, NC)
