April 21, 2022: Buena Vista, GA 31803 Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Westover Patriots (Albany, GA) and the host Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA), saw Westover's baseball squad edge Marion County by a count of 8-7.
Coming up next, the Patriots play the Benedictine Cadets (Savannah, GA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 27. Westover will attempt to move on its 9-14 season record. The Cadets enter the battle with a 24-4 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Aquinas (Augusta, GA).
The Eagles now possess a 19-11 record. They take the field next when they host Georgia Military College for a non-league battle on Friday, April 29. Marion County will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Georgia School for Innovation & Classics (Hephzibah, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-12.
