Kansas High School Softball - Winfield bounces Augusta
April 21, 2022: Augusta, KS 67010 The Winfield Vikings routed the host Augusta Orioles softball squad by a final score of 9-2 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Vikings (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against El Dorado (El Dorado, KS). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, El Dorado was routed by Circle (Towanda, KS), 11-1, in a league battle.
The Orioles now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Buhler for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division III battle on Thursday, April 28. Augusta will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 19-3 league loss to Circle (Towanda, KS). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-11.
