Illinois High School Softball - Limestone can't hold off Morton
April 21, 2022: Morton, IL 61550 The Morton Potters softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Limestone Rockets to 5 in the Potters league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Morton moves its record to 4-10 on the year. The Potters travel to Farmington (Farmington, IL) to clash with the Farmers in a non-league game on Friday, April 22. The Farmers come into the game with a record of 3-3. Farmington lost 4-3 in their recent league game against Macomb (Macomb, IL)
In their next game, the Rockets clash with the Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) in a Mid-Illini game, on Tuesday, April 26. Limestone will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Dragons come into the game with a 9-6 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Glenwood (Chatham, IL).
