The Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT) softball nipped the visiting Milford Tigers (Milford, UT), 15-14 in Thursday's league bout.

The Thunderbirds (6-10) will now prepare for their bout against Gunnison Valley (Gunnison, UT). The Bulldogs go into the 2A bout with a 13-10 record.
