Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Salesian Mustangs (Los Angeles, CA), 5-0 in a league test.

With the win, Bishop Montgomery upgrades its record to 16-6 on the season. The Knights host Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA) to battle the Stars in a Camino Real test on Wednesday, April 26. The Stars come into the test with a record of 2-15.

With the defeat, Salesian falls to 6-9 on the season. The Mustangs travel to St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA) to battle the Mariners in a Camino Real test on Monday, April 24. The Mariners come into the test with a record of 11-11. St. Monica won 13-8 in their recent league test against St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA)
