California High School Baseball - Desert wallops Boron

Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Boron Bobcats (Boron, CA), 16-5 in a league test.

With the win, Desert upgrades its record to 1-12 on the season. The Scorpions travel to California City (California City, CA) to battle the Ravens in a High Desert test on Tuesday, April 25. The Ravens come into the test with a record of 11-8. California City lost 14-13 in their recent league test against Rosamond (Rosamond, CA)

With the defeat, Boron falls to 2-10 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA) to battle the Broncs in a High Desert test on Tuesday, April 25. The Broncs come into the test with a record of 11-6. Kern Valley won 15-2 in their recent league test against Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA)
