April 21, 2023: Keizer, OR 97303 Spectators at Friday's league battle between the South Salem Saxons (Salem, OR) and the host McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR), saw South Salem's baseball squad knock off McNary by a count of 7-4.
Coming up next, the Saxons play the Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR) in a 6A Central Valley battle, on Monday, April 24. South Salem will attempt to move on its 12-2 season record. The Olympians enter the battle with a 14-4 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Glencoe (Hillsboro, OR).
The Celtics now possess a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host South Medford for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 25.
