Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Portage Indians (Portage, IN), 7-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lowell upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Red Devils host Andrean (Merrillville, IN) to battle the Fighting 59ers in a test on Monday, April 24. The Fighting 59ers come into the test with a record of 1-0.

With the defeat, Portage falls to 3-3 on the season. The Indians travel to Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN) to battle the Vikings in a test on Tuesday, April 25. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-0.
