South Carolina High School Soccer - Pickens overwhelmed by Greenwood
April 21, 2023: Greenwood, SC 29649 The Greenwood Eagles smashed the visiting Pickens Blue Flame soccer squad by a margin of 6-1 in Friday's league match.
The Eagles now sport a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Berea for a AAAA Region 1 match on Tuesday, April 25. Greenwood will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Westside (Anderson, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-1.
The Blue Flame (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Greenville (Greenville, SC). The Red Raiders go into the AAAA Region 1 battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Greenville nipped Easley (Easley, SC), 3-1, in a league battle.
